Dave Humphrey

With over 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, Dave has cultivated a distinguished career in investment management, venture capital, and impact-driven finance. His deep passion for “everything African” fuels his lifelong mission to empower young entrepreneurs through financial literacy, business mentorship, and sustainable enterprise development.
Dave’s professional journey includes senior roles at Sanlam Private Wealth and Merrill Lynch South Africa, where he advised high-net-worth clients on equity and portfolio management strategies. He later founded Lampstand Investments (FSP334), an independent investment firm specializing in the South African gold sector.
In 2018, Dave co-founded the Impact Investment Group of Companies, where he continues to blend strategic insight with purpose – driving SME growth and empowerment through Section 12J impact investments, including Impact Empowerment Ventures (Pty) Ltd.

Zethu Ndlangamandla

Zethu brings extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry, having worked with leading institutions such as First National Bank, Sanlam, and Rand Mutual Assurance. His professional foundation is strengthened by the successful completion of both the FAIS Representative and Key Individual Regulatory Examinations, underscoring his technical proficiency and regulatory expertise.
Since joining the Impact Investment Group, Zethu has excelled in multiple capacities, broadening his professional scope and deepening his strategic insight. Within the Sales Division, he has played a pivotal role in client relationship management, market research, and portfolio analysis, consistently contributing to the group’s growth and performance.
In October 2021, Zethu was appointed as the Key Individual at Impact Empowerment Ventures (Pty) Ltd, where he leads Governance, Risk and Compliance with precision and purpose. His leadership style reflects both analytical discipline and a genuine passion for continuous learning and professional excellence.

Emme De Moura
Receptionist / Compliance Administrator
Emme brings a wealth of experience in front-desk administration, payroll management, and executive support, having worked alongside business owners and directors within the retail sector. Her strong administrative and operational background laid the foundation for a seamless transition into the financial services industry, where her organizational acumen and reliability quickly became invaluable.
Since joining the Impact Investment Group in 2021, Emme has been a key member of both the Compliance Department and the Venture Capital Division. She plays a central role in upholding high administrative and regulatory standards, while providing essential support to SMEs within the Section 12J portfolio and across the broader Impact Group network.
Her dedication, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to excellence consistently enhance efficiency, strengthen internal operations, and deliver exceptional value to both clients and leadership teams.
