The Section 12J Industry Association of South Africa was founded to promote awareness, collaboration and policy engagement around the Section 12J investment incentive. Representing a collective of over 25 asset managers with more than 40 registered Venture Capital Companies, the Association advocates for effective regulation, responsible investment and sustainable economic growth.

Through research, public engagement and collaboration with policymakers, the Association continues to champion Section 12J’s role in fostering entrepreneurship, job creation, and inclusive private investment across South Africa’s small and medium enterprise (SME) sector.
