Education

a. Employment Tax Incentive

The ETI enables the operation of the training organisation, where we have been involved in extensive facilities being developed at the Johannesburg Stadium and other locations in South Africa. This operation has assured, contracted revenue where the investor capital is being deployed to tap that income. The investment channel is through our institutional funds and also the S12J funds.

b. Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development

Connected with the ETI training is the development of the students to enable the monetisation of their training either for preparation of employment or business operation. The investment channel is also through the S12J or institutional funds. This investment can also benefit businesses looking for a solution for their regulatory obligations such as B-BBEE

Youth Education Solution 2020 – through Impact Investment Management

We are very proud to launch our initial fund raise in the Education Sector here in Joburg.

Any investment made in the Company will qualify as an income tax deduction against an Investor’s taxable income under Section 12J of the Income Tax Act. Your investment into this sector, via Impact Empowerment Ventures Pty Ltd (IEV, VCC-0135), will lead to the creation of well paid jobs and career paths that will very likely lead to black SME ownership within two years.

An investment in the Impact Education share class offering by Impact Empowerment Ventures (IEV), has the direct effect of educating and equipping 18 to 28-year-old unemployed youth currently living in the Johannesburg CBD, thereby stimulating SME development/ownership and job creation in our country.

We are currently helping fund the conversion of the disused corporate suites at the Johannesburg Stadium, in the Ellis Park precinct, Johannesburg CBD, into classrooms.

One objective we have, through the National Treasury Gazetted Section 12J opportunity, is to facilitate the funding of SMEs in education and student accommodation in South Africa. Each scholar will, after twelve months, graduate with, at the very least, a monetizable skill and a SETA approved course. Some will obtain a NQF 5 to 7 diploma, depending on their aptitude and dedication throughout their study period.

This training and education facility already operates effectively.

The number of students recruited, to this amazing facility alone, is 5000 scholars by end 2020. Phase three and four will facilitate the education opportunity of 10 000 young people from this CBD and surrounds.

Our unique EnRRICH investment strategy gives investors practical opportunities to impact their world while earning a very favourable return. Through your S12J investment, you can expect a healthy dividend yield during the full Investment Period. We aim to return the Investor’s Capital (net of capital gains tax) at the end of the Investment Period, with a controlled exit for each investor after the fifth year, if so chosen.

The Board of Directors and Investment Committee are composed of experienced and credible governance experts as well as industry experts.

Our Enterprise Development team and Education Sector partners have expertise in SETA approved entrepreneurship training, youth education, NQF 2 to 5, and small business incubation. Some of the current SETA approved courses include, hospitality, hotels and tourism, SME development, energy and power generation, mechanical/electrical technician training, project development and selling skill across South Africa.

The funds invested are managed by Impact Investment Management and the administration and compliance is outsourced to Jaltech Structuring.

With a strong focus on risk mitigation and a steady pipeline of potential qualifying investments, that is, we are already speaking to other disused stadia in other regions right now, the Company is well placed to provide an attractive risk-adjusted return to Investors.
