

We Love Alexandra
We Love Alexandra Community Makeover Project is a platform that involves the community and its supporting stakeholders including the local government, and the business community. The SA Day Project is led by Mr Linda Twala – a philanthropist, businessman and “Father of Alexandra” – together with his team of strong community leaders and active Alexandrians, and their associates.
Aim
The project focuses on four key area
- cleaning and beautification of Alexandra Township
- embarking on community upliftment projects
- facilitating business investment and economic development
- Reducing crime to improve economic opportunities


Alexandra Investment Fund
SA Day is also supporting and developing Investment Funds dedicated to investing in Alexandra Township. The Alexandra Investment Funds aim to extend support and access to capital to Alexandra entrepreneurs and existing businesses for their upgrade and growth. This will provide a strong boost to help grow the local Alexandra micro-economy and deliver hope and opportunity to the vast pool of unemployed workers. The investment funds will have the mandate to support the expansion and upgrade of local businesses and support the generation a circular economy. These are fully commercial funds, seeking a return for the investors supporting this initiative.

Kick Start Fund
This fund manages funds that seek non-monetary returns on investment. The fund mandate is to optimise returns for investors that require scorecard points and will support BEE programs, Enterprise Development, Supplier development , education and training and CSI.
This fund is aimed at providing existing Alexandra businesses with access to investment capital that will help them upgrade and grow their businesses. This is particularly relevant to businesses that wish to become part of corporate supply chains and participate in government tenders.
This fund mandate is to assist budding entrepreneurs in Alexandra with access to capital. This fund will help to support economic opportunities through business and job creation.
