SA Day is non-profit and has a particular focus on promoting national unity, cultural diversity, and the celebration of South Africa’s heritage and achievements. It may organise events, campaigns, or other initiatives aimed at achieving its objectives and raising awareness about issues that are important to the people of South Africa. Their motto is “Celebrate your country, celebrate who you are, celebrate South Africa Day”
We Love Alexandra Community Makeover Project is a platform that involves the community and its supporting stakeholders including the local government, and the business community. The SA Day Project is led by Mr Linda Twala – a philanthropist, businessman and “Father of Alexandra” – together with his team of strong community leaders and active Alexandrians, and their associates.
The “Adopt a Block, Adopt a Street” project is an initiative that encourages businesses and individuals to invest in the beautification of streets in Alexandra Township which will add to the aesthetic appeal and safety of Alexandra Township neighbourhoods.
